Can I edit a video just by talking to it?
Last checked:
Yes. In EZShot you tell Yami what to change in plain words, such as "make it shorter" or "add captions", and he changes the video. For bigger changes he first shows what he is about to do and waits for your OK.
What you can ask for today
- Shorten the video to its best moments, or delete a part (the first 3 seconds, or from 0:12 to 0:20).
- Cut the pauses and filler words, when the video has speech.
- Add captions made from the speech, and change how they look.
- Change the speed of a clip, from half speed to double speed.
- Add titles and words on screen, a zoom, a transition, or sound effects.
- Get music made for this video, and change its volume or switch it off.
- Change the shape of the picture: 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9.
What it does not do yet
Some things are not built, and Yami says so plainly instead of pretending: a colour look or filter (warm, black and white), and fixing a typo inside the caption words from the chat. Recording a voice-over works in the editor, not yet from the chat.
Why talk instead of tapping
A request like "shorter, with captions, and calmer music" is one sentence, where in a timeline editor it is several tools. The editor is still there when you want to place something exactly.
