Accessibility Statement
Last updated:
EZShot should be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This page says which standard we work to, what we checked, what helps you today, what is still hard, and how to reach us.
Our standard
EZShot is run by EZShot, Inc. We work to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at level AA, and we aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA.
This statement is published under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law 5758-1998 and the Service Accessibility Adjustments Regulations 5773-2013.
Current status: EZShot partly meets the standard. The parts that do not are listed under "What is still hard".
What this covers
The EZShot website and web app at ezshotai.com, including the version you can add to your phone's home screen. We checked the screens in Hebrew and in English. The app has the same screens in 28 more languages; we did not check those separately.
It does not cover pages of other companies that EZShot sends you to (see "Other companies' pages"), or the videos and posts that customers publish on social networks.
How we check
On 28 October 2026 and again on 2 November 2026 we checked the main screens: sign-in, the join page, the legal pages, the guides, Yami's chat, Create, Gallery, My brand, Calendar, Plan and credits, Learn, the main menu and the video editor's start page.
We did it in Hebrew and English, on a phone-sized and a desktop-sized screen, in the light and the dark theme.
- Automatic testing with the axe-core engine (colour contrast, names of buttons and fields, picture descriptions, page structure, size of tap targets).
- Our own check, which anyone on the team can run, for the skip link, tap-target size, names of form fields, picture descriptions, a visible focus mark on every keyboard stop, and animation under "reduce motion".
- Colour contrast of every text and background pair in both themes is checked again on every build, and a build with a failing pair does not ship.
- Using the screens with the keyboard only, and zooming the text.
What helps you today
These are in the app now:
- Skip to content: the first Tab on any page shows a "Skip to content" link that jumps past the top bar.
- Keyboard: every button, link and field can be reached with the Tab key, and a clear mark shows where you are. The mark appears for keyboard users, not on every tap.
- Menu, Accessibility: larger text and reduced motion are in the main menu and in Settings, and they work on top of your device's own settings.
- Reduced motion: when your device asks for less motion, or you turn it on here, movement and fades are cut, and preview videos show a still picture instead of playing by themselves.
- Light and dark themes, or follow your device. Text and buttons keep at least the contrast the standard asks for in both.
- Hebrew runs right to left throughout, and every page tells screen readers its language and direction.
- Zoom is never blocked.
- Every form field has a name, and error messages are announced to screen readers.
- You can talk with Yami by typing. Voice mode is optional, and so is your own face and voice.
- Videos EZShot makes can carry captions. They are made by automatic speech recognition, so please check them before you publish.
What is still hard
We know about these, and we are working on them.
- The video editor: the timeline and the canvas rely on pointing and dragging, and not every action has a keyboard or screen-reader equivalent. You can ask for most edits in words in the editing chat instead.
- Drawing and visual tools (posters, cut-outs, framing a presenter) are visual by nature.
- Some example videos (the Learn videos and the first-run intro) have no captions in every language yet. A few short example videos play on their own and have no pause button; they stop under "reduce motion".
- Videos and pictures the AI makes come without audio description or a text description of the picture.
- Calendar: moving a post by dragging has no keyboard version yet. You can open the post and change its day and time there.
- Spanish and the other 27 screen languages were not tested for accessibility separately, and 27 of them are machine translations.
- Voice recording for a cloned voice needs speech by its nature.
Other companies' pages
Some steps run on pages of other companies, and we do not control their accessibility: the bot check on the sign-in page (Cloudflare Turnstile), Google sign-in, Stripe's payment and billing pages, and the sign-in pages of the social networks you connect.
